How is billing handled?
The company is charged the full rental fee for the bikes. A portion of the cost is contributed by the employee and directly deducted from their gross salary, neutralizing the cost for the employer. This contribution is collected via the payslip, following a model similar to company health insurance.
What happens if an employee leaves the company?
Three options are available when an employee leaves:
Bike buyout: The employee can purchase their bike at a preferential rate.
Contract transfer: The rental contract can be transferred to another employee.
Contract termination: The contract can be terminated. Termination fees may apply, but with the ZenFlex option, those fees are covered
Do you offer a bike buyback program?
Yes, Avo’Mobility offers an attractive buyback option at the end of the contract. This offer is generally set at 20% of the bike’s original value (incl. tax), including accessories (helmet, lock).
How can employee interest be measured?
We provide free survey tools to assess your team’s interest. These can be easily shared internally to demonstrate demand for a bike plan.
What grants and subsidies are available for companies?
Companies may benefit from various financial incentives and tax advantages when offering bikes to employees. In particular:
Tax deduction: Up to 25% of costs related to company bikes can be deducted from corporate tax.
Eligibility criteria:
The employer covers at least 70% of the employee’s monthly subscription
The lease contract must exceed 36 months
Is bike rental considered a benefit in kind?
No. According to URSSAF, renting a personal bike is not considered a benefit in kind. This means:
No additional social charges for the employer
No payroll taxes or income tax for the employee
